Chinese Earthquake Charity Event (July 2008)

Red Star Press is proud to sponsor a charity event to support the recovery efforts to assist earthquake victims in southwest China. Simply make a purchase on Red Star Press in the month of July, and a percentage of all sales will be donated to Mercy Corps. Here is what Mercy Corps will do with your donations...

"In the aftermath of a powerful earthquake in central China that has killed at least 69,000 people and left as many as five million homeless, Mercy Corps is responding to survivors' needs alongside its local partners. We have helped procure critical supplies such as food, water, clothing and shelter supplies and delivered them to affected families. We are also launching an initiative to help children and youth recover from their trauma through mentoring, sports and other activities."
